New rules
We are maintaining an open door policy from now on which will include affiliates. I never understood why groups affiliated without giving the partners any benefits, so, from now on affiliates who join the army of "take-a-photo" enable their followers to post to our gallery too. I closed the features section and will select works by myself from now on. My helpers are allowed to invite to the featured section too. You may send me a note with a thumbnail to suggest a feature worthy picture. Depending on the workload I can't guarantee to each an immediate answer but it would give you a chance to participate in choosing the representing works for the group. There is a new 2020 folder and I raised the limit to 1 work each week. We are not in a democratic group but I am open to suggestions. There are plans on a contest. Project Summary
My project did not work out as planned. I had planned to take far more pictures than I did.
But I am very glad that I bought my Sigma camera. The output is great and the camera is truely fun to use.

New camera and a new project
After a long time I decided to write a new journal entry.
I purchased a Sigma sd Quattro and started on a photographic journey with it.
Some of you may know that I was taking pictures with my old and trusty Fuji S3 Pro and a 50mm 1:1,4 lens
for a very long time but as time went by, the camera showed more and more issues.
It was time to move on. Since I do not (and I am underlining not as absolutely not) taking videos with my camera
and I am kind of an old school middle focus kind of guy (one focus area in the middle is absolutely enough!)

Hi there,
I wanted to tell you of my recent purchase - a mobile phone manufactured by some minor brand called mobistel.
My wife loves it, since she is using it as a handheld gaming cosole (I haven't seen her playing on her nintendo ds since we
have the phone ^^). I am excited to have it too but because of different reasons than her.
I am a fan of Guido Karp's work. Besides his awesome pictures of musicians like The Scorpions, Robbie Williams, The Rolling Stones and many more,
